As a woman-owned and woman-led agency, National Business Women’s Day holds great importance for us. It’s a reminder of the power of women in leadership, and the importance of lifting each other up. We believe in sharing our team’s accomplishments not for recognition alone, but because we know that visibility matters. By sharing our stories, we hope to encourage and inspire fellow female entrepreneurs to push boundaries, believe in themselves, and lead boldly.
Lindsay Petty Wattam earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership Studies with a double major in Psychology at University of Richmond, graduating Cum Laude.
She began her career in print, working for the Mount Vernon Print Company in their Leadership Development Program, executing in-house projects, coordinating production, and planning layouts for digital jobs. She then worked in sports marketing with the Tampa Bay Rays, where she gained firsthand experience in high-paced, high-impact brand management. From there, she transitioned into higher education as a Marketing Manager at the University of South Florida, deepening her expertise in strategic communication and marketing plans. These early roles built the foundation for the leader she is today.
“Being a woman in business means showing up every day and delivering great work—not just to build your own confidence, but to build the confidence others have in you. I’ve had the privilege of growing alongside incredible mentors, and now I see it as my responsibility to create space for the next generation of women. Leadership isn’t just about your title, it’s about how you show up for your team, your community, and yourself.” — Lindsay Petty Wattam, Vice President & Partner, Pyper, Inc.
Lindsay doesn’t just lead in the office, she leads in the community. She has served on the Leadership St. Pete Planning Committee for the past seven years, helping to shape the next generation of local leaders. She’s also been a board member for EmpowHERment, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering women and girls through mentorship, education, and leadership development.
One of her most heartwarming roles is as a Volunteer Host for Dogs, Inc., raising and caring for guide dog and service dog breeders who have puppies that go on to change lives. Her commitment to service is driven by the same values that guide her leadership: connection, responsibility, and a belief in doing meaningful work.
Lindsay’s journey at our agency began as an Account Manager and has evolved into her current role as Vice President and Partner. Her impact over nearly a decade can’t be overstated. Lindsay is a trusted leader on our team, a driving force behind client relationships, and an essential contributor to business development. Becoming a partner was a natural next step—an acknowledgment of not only her professional accomplishments, but also her vision, loyalty, and commitment to the agency’s growth.
Lindsay Petty Wattam is more than a Vice President and Partner, she’s a role model. Her journey is a testament to what’s possible when women lead with confidence. This National Business Women’s Day, we’re celebrating not just what she’s achieved, but how she continues to elevate those around her. And we hope that by sharing her story, more women feel empowered to write their own.
