Skyway 10K Reaches New Heights

Websites are important tools in all companies’ marketing arsenals, and the Skyway 10K is no exception. Pyper, Inc. has worked with the Skyway 10K race team since the race’s inception in 2018. This annual race over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, benefiting the Armed Forces Families Foundation, requires a few more logistics than the average 10K, due to increased security and travel logistics required for racing over an interstate highway.  

With five years of race experience managing all of their marketing efforts—including the website, social media, email communications, billboards, and more—we had built up a lot of content surrounding the race logistics from the many audiences who use the website, especially the frequently asked questions. We knew a new website leading into the 2023 race would provide a better user experience by reorganizing the complex race information and simplifying navigation. Additionally, we designed the new site to showcase the great experiences racers, sponsors, and supporters experience all weekend long through dynamic photography and web page layouts.

Webflow Increases Agency Efficiency

We rebuilt the WordPress website in Webflow, a no-code web platform that provides an equally robust custom design alongside a content management system without the need for a traditional web developer. The new, beautiful website showcases energetic race memories, highlighting this unique experience. Additionally, our multiple team members are able to easily contribute to the ever changing content on the site throughout the race cycle using WebFlow’s simple, custom-built content management system. This allows our team to be more efficient and responsive in providing critical updates online throughout the year.
